I'm alive!

Oh no, Danny - those Reeses are mine. You can try to steal 'em, but I've got a bajillion mosquitoes keeping guard over them.

...Yeah.

Mosquitoes.

Anyway. I'm mostly moved in. I can't figure out how to reply to comments or post comments, even, on my own blog so I thought I'd post it here. Blogspot is blocked in China, so I'm having some trouble updating. I think I've figured most of it out though, so huzzah!

I've got class in thirty minutes. I just wanted to let you all know that I've made it. Orientation was fun. I'm in the midst of the honeymoon period and entrenched deeply within an American bubble at the moment.

Within the next few days, I'll have an update on orientation in Shanghai and details on the first few days of life in Baoding.

In the meantime, I've got to go to a class full of 20-year-old Chinese students and convince them that I'm actually a foreign teacher and not some student trying to pretend to be a teacher.

  1. Hi! I'm on skype right now...and you're not! I check your blog everyday too. Are you getting eaten alive by mosquitoes? I miss you. =)

  2. I had class 8:18 this morning. If you're on around at 9ish each night, I should be on at some point unless I have class. I should be on Thursday evening 9pm EST til later. Talk to you soon.
